A guy in Washington state learned there’s a gray area to smoking the green stuff. Β He claims to be one of the first in the state to be fired for legally smoking pot. Β
His job ordered him to take a drug test after he was spotted buying weed on TV. Β Washington legalized pot sales Tuesday, but employers still have the right to hire and fire smokers.
Besides the technicalities, Washington expects to make $586 million over four years off of marijuana sales. Β At $20 a gram, the legal price is almost double what pot was selling for on the street.Β The tax rate is 44 percent!
