Police Find 2 Adults Dead Inside A Rock Hill Home While Conducting A Welfare Check

The York County Coroner’s Office has identified the two adults found dead inside a home on Thursday in Rock Hill as 82-year-old Jacqueline Bissett and 59-year-old Tamara Dagenais.

Both Rock Hill Police and the Coroner’s Office will continue to investigate the circumstance of their deaths.

ROCK HILL, S.C. — Police found two adults dead inside a home on The Crossing in Rock Hill, S.C. while conducting a welfare check on Thursday.

Officers responded to the home around 2:30 p.m. to find mail and packages that appeared to have been left there for a couple weeks.

After getting no answer at the door, officers requested for assistance from the Rock Hill Fire Department to make entry so a check on the well-being of the residents inside could be made.

Once inside the home, police say they found two adults dead.

The investigation is active and ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
