One Extricated After Hitting The Side Of A Bridge In Gaston County

 GASTON COUNTY, S.C. — Crowder’s Mountain Fire and Rescue extricated one person after a single vehicle accident on Robinson Road near York Highway around 5:15 a.m. Sunday.

The person was taken to Caromount Regional Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. No other people were in the car.

The driver was traveling on Robinson Road when they lost control of the vehicle, struck the side of a bridge and came to a stop in a wooded area. 

The name or condition of the person is not being released due to restrictions from the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
