LENOIR, N.C.– Officials with the Lenoir Police Department are investigating after a 15-year-old male was shot and killed Friday night.
Police say that around 11:19p.m. officers responded to a 911 call from Atwood Drive in Lenoir, where a caller reported that there was a shooting victim inside an apartment.
Upon arrival, Officers found a gunshot victim inside an apartment at 307 Atwood Drive.
The Lenoir Fire Department and Caldwell County EMS also responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
The Investigation into this incident is ongoing.
The victims name has not yet been released.
