UPDATE: Detectives with CMPD have ruled the death a suicide.Β
Officers responded to a call referencing a suicide attempt on Tyrone Street around 3:30PM Sunday afternoon. When police arrived they found a man with a self-inflicted stab wound.
The man later died from his injuries.
CHARLOTTE, N.C.– One person has died after a stabbing in the 3300 block of Tyrone Street.Β
According to Medic, the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say that the Homicide Unit is on their way.
