CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit on Independence Boulevard.
The incident happened around 9:15 a.m. on inbound Independence.
Only one lane was open as emergency personnel attended to the victim. There is no word on what caused the accident at this time. Expect delays.
