Meet the Project Halo Pet of the Week, Nyssa! This one-year-old pit bull has never met a person or dog that she doesn’t adore. Nyssa was impounded after a police raid at her previous home where she was chained to a plastic kennel, while pregnant, with no sign of food or water. She was rescued by Project Halo two weeks later and has had eleven beautiful puppies. Nyssa has heartworms, but is currently being treated. She has also been spayed and is ready for her new home!
