LONDON (AP) β€” Bradley Wiggins will look to add the hour record to his Olympic and Tour de France titles when he chases what he calls “the holy grail” of cycling.

Wiggins will aim to ride further than 52.491 kilometers β€” a record set by Rohan Dennis of Australia in February β€” at London’s Olympic Velodrome on June 7.

The 34-year-old Wiggins says the hour record has been “fought over tooth and nail by some of the greatest names in our sport for over 100 years and it’s time for me to have a crack at it.”

The four-time Olympic champion and 2012 Tour de France winner finished his career with Team Sky in the Paris-Roubaix race on Sunday.
