CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police made an arrest in a northeast Charlotte bank robbery. Investigators say 35-year-old Andre Pierre handed a teller a note demanding money at a First Citizens Bank on Mallard Creek Road Thursday morning.
He was last seen leaving the area in a Chrysler 200 car. After police released surveillance pictures to the media, a viewer contacted police and gave them enough information for investigators to arrest Pierre.
Police say Pierre is currently on federal probation for a bank robbery in Ohio. He has been charged with common law robbery and failure to heed to blue lights and sirens.
