CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Vincent Johnson, 21, died in a motorcycle crash on N. Wendover Road near Marvin Road just before 7 p.m. Friday.
Johnson was driving a 2006 Suzuki Motorcycle on N. Wendover Road in the left lane when Ronald Hoey was stopped on N. Wendover Road to turn left on Marvin Rd. When Hoey turned, Johnson entered the intersection and the two vehicles collided.
Hoey, 21, was driving a 2004 Cadillac Deville.
Johnson was pronounced dead on scene by Medic. Hoey was not injured and was released.
Alcohol was not a contributing factor in the wreck. The crash is still under investigation. No charges have been made.
