JCSU President Dr. Ronald Carter says it’s the first shooting ever on campus. Β He describes having to get the phone call.Β “It’s a nightmare,” Carter says. “That’s the thing that Presidents and Chancellors across the country do not want to receive. And in this case I received it, but I’m very proud of the staff, the administrators, the CMPD, how quickly they responded according to our protocol.”
