CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Rock University preps for its 3rd Annual Rockin’ Kids First Benefit Concert and Auction. The charity event initially created out of necessity after a scheduled performance fell through some years ago. As the event has evolved, local bands and sponsors have made this a must attend show for performers and fans to give back to the community for the holidays.
I spoke with Karen and Kevin Corzine, the creators of Rock University about the benefit concerts creation, it’s evolution and their goals for the future.
