CHARLOTTE, NC — We’re waiting to hear if charges will be filed following a deadly shooting in north Charlotte. Police say a fight led to the shooting at a house on Katelyn Drive off Prosperity Church Road Monday afternoon.
Investigators say a man at the house admitted to pulling the trigger. Neighbors are relieved police are not looking for any other suspects.
“That’s pleasing because, like I said, we don’t have anything like that in this neighborhood. We never have. Hope we never will again,” said north Charlotte resident Raye Duke.
Police say the two men knew each other, but are not related. Investigators have not released their names.
