Β CHARLOTTE, NC — We’re waiting to hear if charges will be filed following a deadly shooting in north Charlotte. Β Police say a fight led to the shooting at a house on Katelyn Drive off Prosperity Church Road Monday afternoon.
Investigators say a man at the house admitted to pulling the trigger. Β Neighbors are relieved police are not looking for any other suspects.
“That’s pleasing because, like I said, we don’t have anything like that in this neighborhood. Β We never have. Β Hope we never will again,” said north Charlotte resident Raye Duke.
Police say the two men knew each other, but are not related. Β Investigators have not released their names.
