Tonight the CW treated us to an ongoing tour of the UK with its new summer show Backpackers, which centers around two buddies are hiking across Europe. It’s the kind of thing you probably dreamed of around college. But then you grew up and things got real. Sure, some of you actually did the hike across Europe thing, but there are plenty of other things that just don’t suit a mature lifestyle.
This week, a couple of websites tackled the 30-year-old issue, listing off items that no grown-up should have. Like a futon, or unframed posters & art. Plastic dishes, or a shot-glass and beer can collection. Which sounds like they’re targeting guys.
Most of the style stuff was focused at women. Stuff like low-rise jeans, saddle shoes or flat Mary Janes, tube tops, and denim mini skirts. And of course cheap jewelry.
The lists go on and on, but they’re just opinion. And the only opinions that matter around here, are yours.
