CHARLOTTE, N.C. — It’s been one week since former mayor Patrick Cannon was arrested on corruption charges. Now, the city is looking to move forward and select a trusty replacement.
City leaders have been working all week to keep business operations normal amid the scandal. That task has mainly fallen in City Manager Ron Carlee’s lap.
Carlee joined Rising on the phone to talk about the fallout from these recent events at the Government Center.
