GREENVILLE COUNTY, SC — A woman in South Carolina is accused of dropping her teenage son off on the side of a road and forcing him to walk 20 miles to get home.

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office charged Tiffany Simmons with unlawful neglect of a child.  Investigators say Simmons forced her 12-year-old out of her car on Saturday after they got into an argument.  He wandered around for two hours before he showed up at Delinda Duncan’s home.

“The little boy was all sweaty, tired, and scared.  So I went in the house and got him a Coke,” said Duncan.

Tiffany Simmons got out of jail Tuesday on $10,000 bond.  Her son is staying with a family member while DSS investigates.
