CHARLOTTE, NC — Advocates call on Governor Pat McCrory to stop the hate and support immigrant families.  McCrory joined 14 other states in a lawsuit challenging President Obama’s executive order on immigration.

Several groups met in Uptown Charlotte Friday to say he’s done a complete 180.  They claim before he was elected, he was for immigrants, and now he’s forgotten all about them.

“His actions aren’t against Obama, but are against families,” said one activist.  “Like we have here.  These are the families that are going to be affected.”

More than 120,000 undocumented immigrants in North Carolina are eligible for deferred action under the President’s executive order.  That could create $197 million in tax revenues in the next five years.
