(CNN) — Former pro football players who suffered serious medical conditions because of repeated head injuries could get up to $5 million from the NFL.
A federal judge signed off on a revised settlement Wednesday. Β More than 5,000 former players sued the league, accusing it of hiding the dangers of concussions. Β The settlement also provides eligible retired players with baseline neurological exams. Β
