CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Make a wholesome meals in minutes! This week’s Zell or Zilch is testing “as seen on TV” kitchen products.
First up is the Stone Wave which claims to make delicious, personal-sized gourmet food portions right in your microwave. This ceramic stoneware cooker features a specially designed chimney that allows steam to escape while food cooks. It costs $10 and can be purchased at stonewave.com.
Next is the Flip Open Jack Pan by Orgreenic. It’s a ceramic non-stick, non-toxic pan! It uses no oil – which means less fat! It costs $20 and can be bought at flipjackpan.com.
We have the Ronco Ready Grill which is an indoor electric grill that roasts both sides of food. No flipping necessary, is smoke free and claims to have the same great grill flavor. It’s nonstick and is dishwasher-safe.
Similar to a toaster, the grill roasts food between infrared heat shields. The cost ranges from $60 to depending on where you buy it. It can be purchased at readygrill.com.
