
DAVIDSON, N.C. — Β A man was arrested after a vehicle stop led police to drugs inside of a car on Friday night.

Police say that around 9:00 p.m. on Friday, officers with the Davidson Police Department conducted a vehicle stop in the parking lot of the Rushco food store on Gateway Drive in Davidson, NC.

Officials say thatΒ Β Deon Smith Jr., 19, of Fort Mill, was arrested as the result of a narcotics investigation into the sale and delivery of narcotics. Police seized marijuana, marijuana brownies, mushrooms, and approximately $600 dollars in cash during the stop.

Smith is charged with possession and intent to sell and deliver marijuana, mushrooms, possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a vehicle for controlled substances, and for resisting, delaying and obstructing an officer from performing his duties.
