ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — Police say they arrested a woman for possessing designer drugs in Salisbury. Β
Deborah Loining, 39, was charged with possession of Sch I, Mephedrone, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Β
Police believe Loining was purchasing the powerful synthetic stimulate that mimics the effects of cocaine and amphetamines online. Β
Investigators obtained a search warrant and found Mephedrone and several other controlled substances in Loining’s possession. Β The substances were sent to a lab for analysis. Β
Detectives say additional charges are expected.
