Β CHARLOTTE, NC — Some Good Friends raised nearly $273,000 for needy families in Charlotte Thursday. Β It’s their best year ever.
More than 1,200 women attended the group’s 28th annual luncheon at the convention center. Β The Good Friends tradition began in 1987. Β Since then, the group has raised nearly $3 million.
