Police Find Marijuana Grow Operation After A Domestic Disturbance Call

LICOLNTON, N.C. — Police arrest a Licolnton man on marijuana charges after responding to a domestic disturbance call. On Saturday, April 25th, police responded to a domestic disturbance at 615 Grier Street, Lincolnton, N.C.
 
Upon arrival, officers spoke to both the female and male parties at the residence. Upon further investigation, officers located two marijuana plants on the property.  The marijuana plants were seized as evidence.
 
Police then proceeded to arrest Teddy Dean Allen and charged him with manufacture marijuana and maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance.
Allen was placed in the Lincolnton County Jail witha $10,000.00 secured bond.
 
Allen has previous convictions for Failure to Notify Address Change for a Sex Offender, Indecent Liberties with a Child, Assault on a Female, and several traffic related charges.
