Β CHARLOTTE, NC — Β Here’s a timeline of the Erica Parsons case:

July 30, 2013: Erica’sΒ adoptive brother reported her missing.

August 8: Casey Parsons tells WCCB Erica is with her grandmother Nan in Asheville. Β Police later say the woman doesn’t exist.

August 14:Β  The FBI, state and local investigators search the Parsons’ home.

August 20:Β  The Parsons appear on the Dr. Phil show.

August 21: Β Investigators search a shed on property owned by Sandy’s father.

August 25: Β Billboards with Erica’s picture go up in the Charlotte area. Β 

August 27:Β  The Parsons pack up their Salisbury home and move to Fayetteville.

December: Search warrants show cadaver dogs picked up the scent of human remains near a shed owned by the Parsons.

The case has since been cold. Β But the search for Erica continues. Β Now, the reward in this case has been bumped up to $50,000. Β WCCB Charlotte is committed to covering the Erica Parsons case every step of the way.
