CLEVELAND (AP) β€” Cleveland forward Kevin Love will miss at least the next round of playoff games for the Cavaliers. He dislocated his shoulder in Sunday’s game with Boston when he was manhandled by Kevin Olynk in the first quarter. The Cavs are waiting to see if they face the Bulls or Bucks in the second round.

UNDATED (AP) β€” Washington’s Capitals have advanced to the second round of the playoffs with a 2-1 win over the Islanders. They will now face the New York Rangers. And in Detroit, visiting Tampa Bay beat the Red Wings 5-2 to force a seventh and final game in that series tomorrow night in Tampa.

BALTIMORE (AP) β€” The Orioles and White Sox are scheduled to play this evening in Baltimore, but after last night’s postponement because of rioting in the city, the status of tonight’s game is uncertain. Commissioner Rob Manfred will determine today if the game will be played in Baltimore or if it can be moved to another stadium.

UNDATED AP) β€” The St. Louis Cardinals say ace Adam Wainwright is out for the season because of a torn left Achilles. This is the second major injury of his career as he missed the entire 2011 season recovering from Tommy John surgery. Wainwright will have surgery on his ankle later this week.
