STATESVILLE, NC– Police have charged a Statesville woman in connection with a shooting Tuesday.
Authorities say they responded to a 911 call at a residence on Yellowstone Lane Tuesday, witnesses told police that a woman entered their home and began firing shots.
Sheriff’s say the suspect was looking for a relative of one of the residence, who didn’t live at the home.
Kassandra Wright, 28, was arrested and charged with shooting into an occupied dwelling, possession of firearm by felon and is being held on a $50,000 bond.
