CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Officials say the condition of the Charlotte missionary who contracted Ebola while serving in Liberia has worsened. Β
Nancy Writebol was working alongside Dr. Ken Brantly with Samaritan’s Purse and SIM when they contracted Ebola. Β SIM says Writebol is in stable but serious condition. Β She is currently receiving an experimental drug that doctors hope will improve her condition. Β
SIM says no other people from their team have tested positive for Ebola. Β The organization has ordered all nonessential personnel to evacuate Liberia. Β
