Condition Worsens For Charlotte Woman With Ebola

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Officials say the condition of the Charlotte missionary who contracted Ebola while serving in Liberia has worsened.

Nancy Writebol was working alongside Dr. Ken Brantly with Samaritan’s Purse and SIM when they contracted Ebola.  SIM says Writebol is in stable but serious condition.  She is currently receiving an experimental drug that doctors hope will improve her condition.

SIM says no other people from their team have tested positive for Ebola.  The organization has ordered all nonessential personnel to evacuate Liberia.
