Join us on May 10 for the second annual “Love Your Headlights” Charity Run/Walk, hosted by Shirley‘s Angels. This year‘s event includes a 5K and an all-new 5.5 mile event. Runners/walkers of all levels are encouraged to participate. After losing her mother to breast cancer and her sister‘s own battle, a local Charlotte woman started Shirley‘s Angels, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising money to provide hope, care, and love. Funds raised will directly help support local women and men inflicted with breast cancer, on their journey from diagnosis all the way to ‘survivor-hood‘. The “Love Your Headlights” event serves to create breast cancer awareness, build relationships within the community, and empower those in need as they fight! The “Love Your Headlights” 5K & 5.5 Mile Charity Run/Walk will be officially timed by Queen City Timing. Prizes will be awarded for top finishers and the best PINK ensemble. Proceeds from the charity run/walk will benefit those diagnosed with breast cancer in our own communities.
