CALDWELL COUNTY, N.C. — An earthquake shook Caldwell County Monday morning. Officials say the 3.0 magnitude earthquake happened around 1:45am near Lenoir.
There was no damage reported but several residents claim they heard a boom and felt their home shake. The epicenter was located about nine miles north of Lenoir.
