NEW YORK (AP) β€” Paul Millsap had 25 points, nine rebounds and six assists as the Atlanta Hawks ripped the Nets 111-87 in Brooklyn to advance to the NBA’s Eastern Conference semifinals against Washington. Kyle Korver and DeMarre Carroll each had 20 points for the Hawks, who grabbed control of the game by outscoring the Nets 41-21 in the third period. Atlanta shot 51 percent from the field, including 13 of their 32 3-point attempts.

CHICAGO (AP) β€” The Blackhawks coughed up a 3-0 lead before Teuvo Teravainen (TOO’-voh tehr-ah-VY’-nehn) scored with 59 seconds left in the second period to lift Chicago past the Minnesota Wild 4-3 in Game 1 of the NHL second-round series. Brandon Saad (sahd), Patrick Kane and Marcus Kruger scored in the first period to give Blackhawks a three-goal cushion, but the Wild stormed back on goals by Jason Zucker, Zach Parise (pah-REE’-say) and Mikael Grandlund during the first half of the middle stanza. Corey Crawford finished with 30 saves for the Blackhawks, who will host Game 2 on Sunday.

MONTREAL (AP) β€” Ben Bishop turned back 43 shots and Nikita Kucherov scored the game-winner at 2:06 of double-overtime to lift the Tampa Bay Lightning past Montreal 2-1 in Game 1 of the NHL’s Eastern Conference second-round series. Bishop made 13 saves in the first overtime period and blanked the Canadiens until Max Pacioretty (pash-uh-REH’-tee) scored with 5:13 left in regulation. Tyler Johnson scored his seventh playoff goal for the Lightning, who are 6-0 versus the Canadiens since the start of the regular season.

LAS VEGAS (AP) β€” Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao (PAK’-ee-ow) took the stage at the MGM Grand arena and weighed in below the welterweight limit for Saturday’s fight. Mayweather weighed in at 146 pounds, just one pound heavier than Pacquiao. A majority of the crowd appeared to favor Pacquiao, who raised both arms to the crowd with V’s for victory.

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) β€” Quarterback Jameis (JAY’-mihs) Winston has signed a four-year, $23.35 million contract, less than 24 hours after being selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with the first pick of the NFL draft. A person familiar with the contract said the deal includes more than $16.6 million in guaranteed money and contains a fifth-year option. Bucs general manager Jason Licht said the quick negotiations were a reflection of how elated the team is to have Winston.
