CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A biker is dead after police said he illegally passed a car in north Charlotte. The driver drove off the road and crashed into a utility pole. It happened Sunday morning just after midnight on Capps Hill Mine near Silver Ore Lane. 46-year-old Kevin Linton Senior died. Police don’t know if speed or alcohol played a factor.
