Police: 2 Suspects Wanted For Robbing Concord Convenience Store

CONCORD, N.C. — The Concord Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects responsible for robbing the Cabarrus Corner Store on Tuesday.

On January 11th, investigators say the two suspects entered the store on Cabarrus Avenue West around 10 a.m.

As they entered, police say one suspect jumped on the counter and ordered the clerk to remove money from the registers.

It was then a struggle ensued resulting in the clerk being struck in the face and head.

Investigators say while the first suspect and clerk fought, the second suspect removed money from the register.

After taking the money from the registers, both suspects fled the scene on foot, according to a news release.

Suspect #1 is described as a tall thin Black man wearing a grey hoodie and black sweat pants displaying “AERI87” on the left leg.

Suspect #2 is described as a light skinned Black or Hispanic man wearing a burgundy and grey hoodie with blue sleeves. Police say the second suspect also has noticeable “slits” or shaved marks in both eyebrows.
