Mild Temperatures Ahead of This Weekends Winter Storm
A cold night on tap with overnight lows near 30 degrees across the Piedmont under mostly clear skies. Temperatures remain seasonable through the remainder of the week ahead of a cold and potentially messy weekend. Clouds will increase on Thursday ahead of a rather weak cold front which will swing through Thursday evening. This front will bring a few snow showers to the mountains – no snow outside of the mountains with this front. Isolated rain showers are possible across the Piedmont, but will be the exception not the rule.
