BURKE COUNTY, N.C. – Neighbors in Burke County are remembering a man who died in a mobile home fire. The medical examiner is trying to confirm the victim’s identity. Neighbors tells us his name was Gary Kirksey. They said he lived in the mobile home on Clark Loop near Morganton for about a year. There’s no word what sparked the fire.
