CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Chris Canty Foundation is cleaning up Charlotte communities and getting local youth involved in order to learn leadership skills.
Joseph Canty says volunteers are still needed. The more, the better!
1-800 Got Junk will have a fleet of trucks at the event to make sure things are disposed of properly.
The annual Cleanup For Change kicks off April 5th from 8am to 1pm.
Volunteers will start on the campus of Johnson C. Smith University at 8:30am.
You’re encouraged to pre-register if you’re interested in volunteering before the event.
Charlotte native Chris Canty founded the Chris Canty Foundation. Canty is a Superbowl XLVI Champion and current starting Defensive End for the Baltimore Ravens.
