MATTHEWS, N.C. – Family Dollar shareholders are expected to decided today if the company will be taken over by Dollar Tree. The deal is worth 8.5 billion dollars.
Some shareholders of the Matthews based company want to delay the vote until the board can take a closer look at an offer from Dollar General.
