LINCOLNTON, N.C. — A Lincoln County woman has been charged with felony child abuse after her child was taken to a local hospital with a broken leg.
Investigators say 23-year-old Amanda Josey admitted to twisting the 2-year-old’s leg because he would not sit still while she changed his diaper. This caused a femur fracture on the child’s right leg.
The Department of Social Services place the child in the custody of his grandparents.
