CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte voters are deciding who will lead the city for the next two years. Democrat Patrick Cannon and Republican Edwin Peacock are facing off for Charlotte’s top job.
Voters in Mecklenburg County and towns like Huntersville, Pineville, Matthews, Cornelius and Davidson will vote on bonds and school board candidates.
Many of the towns also have elections for their own mayor and council members. The polls are open until 7:30pm. Watch WCCB News @ 10 for election results.
