CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Entertainment legend Debbie Allen is in Charlotte looking for the best and brightest talent.
Allen is hosting auditions for “Brothers of the Knight” Saturday, April 5th at Dance Productions 2 Studio. Registration is at 8 a.m. For audition times, click here.
“Brothers of the Knight” is a hip adaptation ofΒ the classic Brother’s Grimm tale, The Twelve Dancing Princesses, and comes to Ovens Auditorium July 17th – 20th.
Debbie Allen is a three time Emmy Award winner most notable for her work in choreography, producing, directing and acting.
Allen has served as a director and producer for Scandal, Grey’s Anatomy, A Different World and FAME. She has choreographed for artists such as Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, and Janet Jackson. Allen was appointed by President George W. Bush to represent the United States as a Cultural Ambassador of Dance.
