CHARLOTTE,NC–A passenger is deceased after be ejected from a vehicle on Albemarle Road.
Police say Keren Velasquez was driving on Albemarle Road when she lost control of her Ford Explorer, after spinning out of control, the vehicle rolled two times before coming to rest.
The front passenger of the SUV, Karina Velasquez, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced deceased at the scene by MEDIC.
A 2-year-old and 1-year-old child suffered minor injuries while the driver also suffered minor injuries.
Alcohol or drug impairment was not suspected, while the speed of the crash is under investigation.
Keren Velasquez was charged with misdemeanor death by vehicle, driving without a license, unsafe movement and a child restraint violation.
