CHARLOTTE,NC–13 members of Charlotte’s news airport commission took their oaths even though they don’t have the power to run the airport.
Some of the members are now questioning whether their lawyers are needed and others wonder if the commission has money to spend.
Charlotte city manager Ron Carlee told members that the city would continue it’s fight to keep them from controlling the airport.
During a hearing last Friday, a superior court judge said he couldn’t decide who has control of the airport, so the city is still in charge.
