Β ROCK HILL, S.C. — The State Dental Association is offering free dental care to South Carolinians at First Baptist Rock Hill August 8 and 9th.
The care will be given on a first come, first serve basis. Patients will be seen Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The dental initiative called ‘DAD’ will focus on adults who need extractions and restorative work.Β
The association estimates over 100 dental volunteers and $25,000 to $50,000 to be used for the project.
Last year, the association operated in Charleston and saw more than 1,500 people and gave away more than $800,000 in oral care.
