A Navy groom and his bride tied the knot in Matthews today. The couple’s ceremony was completely free: paid for by a local wedding and events planner. More than two dozen vendors donated nearly $40,000 worth of supplies and services. Carolina Weddings and Events organized the contest. The couple says they never dreamed they’d win.
“We didn’t know how many that was going to be, you know,” says Aaron Ambrosino. “And we did an impromptu Skype interview with them, and on the Skype interview they actually told us that we had won.”
