Final Stretch Of I-485 To Open On June 5th

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The final stretch of Interstate 485 Outer Loop will open to traffic on June 5th.  The North Carolina Department of Transportation says the road will open around noon.  

The 5.7 mile segment from Old Statesville Road to I-85 will officially complete the 67-mile loops around Charlotte and serve as a link from I-77 to I-85.
