CHARLOTTE, NC — A warning for anyone who’s eaten at Chick-fil-A recently: the fast food chain may be the latest to be targeted by cyber criminals.
Customers have reported unusual activity on credit and debit cards they used at Chick-fil-A. The company is looking into the reports, and has not said which restaurants may have been affected.
“I think individuals just need to be careful, and if they don’t trust going somewhere, then use cash,” said Cotswold resident Sean Weddington. “If not, then watch your card and switch it out when you know there’s been a breach.”
Chick-fil-A says if there has been a breach, customers will not be responsible for any fraudulent charges.
