CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Fire investigators are checking out a South Charlotte complex where a blaze started. Firefighters evacuated dozens of families at an apartment complex off Park Road.
It took 55 firefighters to get the flames under control. Two people were injured, one of those people were hospitalized for smoke inhalation.
Investigators are not saying what started the fire but it was focused on the third floor. One apartment is ruined and the Red Cross is helping that family tonight.
