In the Armed Forces Bowl in Fort Worth, Texas, Pittsburgh is facing Houston while Iowa and Tennessee are playing in the TaxSlayer Bowl in Jacksonville, Florida; UCLA and Kansas are in the Alamo Bowl in San Antonio and Oklahoma State is going against Washington in the Cactus Bowl in Tempe, Arizona.

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) β There’s a good NBA matchup tonight as a pair of division leaders square off in Oakland. The game has the Pacific Division-leading Golden State Warriors playing host to the Atlantic-leading Toronto Raptors. The Warriors are 25-5 on the season while the Raptors are 24-8.
WASHINGTON (AP) β The NHL’s Winter Classic took place yesterday in Washington and in the home of the baseball Nationals the hockey Capitals beat Chicago 3-2. The Caps blew a 2-0 lead before Troy Brouwer (BROW’-ur) scored on a power play with 12.9 seconds left to secure the win.
