CABARRUS CO, N.C. — Troopers say four people were injured after a fiery head-on collision involving a school bus and car in Cabarrus County on Wednesday.
Troopers with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol say the collision occurred around 3 p.m., and no children were on the bus when the crash happened.
Initial investigation reveals that a Nissan turned right from Lower Rocky River Road onto Morrison Road, went left of center, and crashed head-on into a Cabarrus County School Bus.
The bus driver and three people in the Nissan were all taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, officials say.
