This event celebrates those who have suffered from any kind of abuse,addiction,and want to provide assistance to those in need. Various Mental Health and Substance Abuse Agencies will be on site to offer assistance as well. Vendors are free and welcomed. The inaugural Walk for Recovery begins at 10 a.m. Aug. 23 at Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church, 15000 York Road, Charlotte. Registration begins at 8 a.m. Cost is $10.
