BOONE, N.C. — Three men are wanted for theft after breaking into a pharmacy in Boone and stealing a large amount of prescription medication early Thursday morning, according to police.
Investigators say surveillance video at Boone Drug captured three men with masks, heavy dark clothing, and gloves break the front door glass to the building.
Two of the men then entered the pharmacy and took a large amount of prescription medication.
Investigators say the men then fled the scene south on Highway 105 toward the city.
Boone Police responded to the scene after an alarm was activated.
Investigators are seeking more information on this case, including a black Dodge Charger with a Virginia license plate that was seen in the area around the time of the incident.
